State Post

After the weekend, it has been hard to return to “normal.” This is the year to have a state trip.  The cinnamon roll sales was our fundraiser.  We intended to have another, but contests crept up on us.  Therefore, we will be spending one night – Thursday, April 13.  We will leave at 6AM Thursday and return Friday afternoon, April 14.  Only those students who participated in the fundraiser will be eligible to go. The Wyndham in Round Rock has given us a group as well as the government rate. We will be watching the 5A shows. Students will need to provide $24. for the two sessions of plays; each session is $12.00.  Students will also need to pay for their meals.  The hotel will provide breakfast, but students will need to eat a hearty meal before the plays begin at 4:00 because we will not return to the hotel until after midnight Thursday. Please let me know if your child/children will be able to join us by Tuesday.

It has been a sad end to the journey.  I could not have asked for a better, more hardworking group of students. Thank you for your support.  If you see Nicole Talley and her husband, please thank them.  We could not have done this with ease without their help. Nicole was in charge of the cinnamon roll fundraiser and she coordinated snacks for the trips. The Kolmans provided the meals last Thursday for the students.

Thanks for your support. Please contact me if you have questions.
