i'm still working on figuring out my character and adding unique things to her. I'm trying to be funny but i'm not a funny person so it's hard!!!! so if anyone has any suggestions on how to add funny stuff let me know!! and can we please work on my scene with arthur?? i was not feeling it last night
ReplyDeleteI am going to be motherly and make the audience feel sorry for me. I don't really know how to work my transitions. I will try to make my diction decent
ReplyDeletethe sheets passed out yesterday really helped me get a since of my character! now I realize that I need to be more bossy and trashy, then transition into a "young lady." I also like the idea of adding those lines with ellen and kate, as well as jim and kate! I think it will really deepen my character! I know that the gut girls still seem the same but we really are trying hard to figure our characters out and become individuals in a group, instead of a group of girls who are all the same!:)
ReplyDeleteWorking on the music and transitions has really helped me to understand the feel the mood and setting in the play. And vice versa, I suppose!
ReplyDeleteThe singing in the transitions worked a lot better and made some scenes less awkward. We can work on making sure that if one person hums that every one does and so that the audience can hear them
