The transitions are getting a lot smoother, but I think they can still improve if we dedicate ourselves to memorizing the list Mrs.Couch has given us. I think the clinic on Monday went very well, and I know Frida's critiques will make our play all the stronger. We are going to do great in front of Lou!!
ReplyDeletei think transitions are getting smoother but i think adding in music like Lou suggested will help prepare the audience for the change in scenes and mood
ReplyDeleteI haven't been here that day, but I saw tonight that there is still freezing when people aren't in the spotlight instead of moving slow motion.
ReplyDeleteafter the scene with me and don, I will show relief but not act like everything is automatically fine.
ReplyDeleteOne thing i just thought of is when starting a new scene, make sure you pick up the task you were doing from in the dark. Does that make sense? Like i don't think it looks good when the light comes on and 2 seconds pass before you start/continue your action. Just a thought
ReplyDeleteI think the transition from Ellen and Jim to Ellen and Annie and then to Ellen and Maggie is going a lot more smoothly. I have tried to vary the ways I say each of their names and how I react in each scene
ReplyDeleteWorking on what a woman and being louder
ReplyDeleteDoing great just try and hit those consonants
ReplyDeleteDoing great just try and hit those consonants
ReplyDeleteI think we need to keep up the energy throughout the play. We do the beggining of the play so much and it's really strong and the end needs to be just as strong.
ReplyDeleteThe play is getting a lot better, the transitions are wonderful, the moments are there. We just need to make sure that the audience can userstand what someone is saying.
ReplyDeleteTransitions are getting a lot better but still need to look more smooth. Hit the consonants!! Towards the end of the play it starts to drag, keep up energy! - CLAIRE MALONE (my phone broke)
ReplyDeleteI agree with carter our transition are a lot better ever since Lou and we will only get better with them from here on.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the transitions are much better, but how is the thunder and sounds coming along?
